The Canberra Archery Club is Canberra's premier archery Club. Established in 1962, the Club boasts a proud history and tradition of archery development in the ACT and surrounding areas.
Open 7 days a week:
The club is open to members seven days a week. Members are free to shoot at any time, subject to planned activities and events.
We conduct beginner sessions every Sunday
Parents are most welcome to participate and are encouraged to be present for the whole session, especially if the child is young.
We also run school holiday programs and can cater for special events, including birthdays, workplace and social groups.
3 reasons to try archery Canberra
It's good for your health - Not only is it incredibly fun, it's great for your health. It not only builds your core, arms and shoulder strength but also improves your posture.
It's very safe - It's a common misconception that archery is unsafe. But it's actually one of the safest sports in the world. This is because people are trained in safety and learn what not to do.
Come and try and see if you like it - Each session costs $30 per person, which includes hire of all equipment.
Shooting is under the supervision of Club coaches and instructors. We may limit the number of people who can participate in a session to ensure that adequate supervision and instruction can be provided to all participants.
