About the Program
Karralika Programs recognises the importance of providing support and assistance to clients while participating in our treatment programs and as they re-settle back into the community. Our Outreach Program is available to every client who exits the Karralika Therapeutic Community Adult Program, the Family Program, the Nexus Program (including Men’s Halfway House and aftercare program), and the Solaris Therapeutic Community at the Alexander Maconochie Centre.
Transitioning back into the community is a critical stage for clients. Our team provides tools and support to help them prevent and more effectively deal with lapse and relapse situations and to follow through with their identified recovery goals. Clients are supported to take advantage of a range of opportunities available to them in the community including, but not limited to, social networking, ongoing treatment assistance and employment opportunities.
Our team provides regular case management sessions, referral to relevant agencies and organisations that assist in meeting their needs and recovery goals, as well as contact over the phone or face to face appointments. Clients are supported with Relapse Prevention tools and information related to cravings, slips and relapsing, managing high risk situations and the like to help keep them safe in the community.
