Hartley Lifecare provides centre-based respite care (short term accommodation) to people with disability. Residential respite care is 24/7 care in specialist disability accommodation for a short period of time.
Respite residents have care around the clock, the opportunity to participate in activities that take place in the home and enjoy freshly cooked meals. Respite residents live alongside current residents, which helps to foster connections and ensure that they feel part of our community.
Carers sometimes need to take a break from the physical and emotional demands of their role. Respite allows them to be able to take ‘time out’ with real peace of mind. The person with disability also benefits from the increased social activity available in the respite care.
