The Tuggeranong Walk-in Centre is a white and grey, two-storey building with a red tiled wall and ramp. The building is on the corner of the Pitman and Cowlishaw Streets car park and faces another carpark on Pitman Street.

Walk-in Centres provide free advice and treatment for various minor injuries such as: - common illnesses, like cold and flu - cuts, bruises, abrasions and burns - strains and sprains - skin conditions and rashes - sinus infections (sinusitis) and tonsillitis - ear infections – middle and outer (swimmer’s ear) - mild gastroenteritis - minor infections and wounds - urinary tract infections - scabies - mastitis - conjunctivitis - minor limb fractures - impetigo (school sores) - dental abscess - removal of stitches and staples - wound dressings - tetanus injections - x-ray referral as indicated for injuries below the knee and shoulder - plastering/splinting for simple limb injuries - emergency contraception - ear wax removal - chlamydia screening - nail bed injuries - blood glucose test - sick and carers certificates (not medical certificates)
