The Youth Engagement Team offers free Vulnerable Road Users Program for young people aged 15-25 years who hold a current Centrelink Healthcare card and ACT learner licence that has been held for a period of at least 3 months. On completion young people will be credited 10 hours of log book driving time.
The VRU program has been approved by the ACT Government as an approved Learner Licence Training Course under section 15 (1) (b) of the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulation 2000’.
Participants are required to complete theory based learning prior to the program and a 2 hour practical session.
To register for this course please contact CRCS Youth Services and provide the participant’s name, date of birth, contact number, email, licence number and proof of Centrelink health care card.
Courses are generally held once a term
